Thank you for the feedback.

Hi Clare Just thought I would write to congratulate you on your great blog which I discovered on Facebook. Love Tomas the Stoma’s approach to our condition! I have had a stoma (for UC) for over 40 years and have never looked back. To me it is THE normal and many of my friends do not even know I have a bag. Worrying thing is that not a lot appears to have happened about detection and treatment in that time. However, appliances have come a long way since the ‘hot water bottle’ I left hospital with. Unfortunately my daughter too had an ileostomy (UC again) a few years ago, but thanks to social media like yours she has a much more open and positive outlook to what was a ‘Cinderella’ condition until recently. Keep up the good work! J
